Often times I failed
I would start things and never finish them
Often times I let down those I loved the most
Always a dreamer, always wandering aimlessly
I was broken, messed up
I was hopeless
and then
time and time again
I was forgiven
I was reminded I was loved
I was so not worth it but then I found I was because I discovered what love truly was
It didn't exist in me, it didn't exist in others
the kind that heals
the kind that forgives AND forgets
the kind that redeems the ones in the pit
I found Jesus, not once but over and over again
because I messed up over and over again
and he loved me still
as I was, as I am
His love is Beautiful
